Len Sprishen advises individuals and businesses worldwide on a broad range of federal, international, and state and local tax matters.  He is regularly involved with mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, inbound and outbound investment structuring and compliance (including analysis of CFC, PFIC, withholding tax, GILTI, and FATCA issues), income tax treaty planning, disclosures to taxing authorities, executive compensation and employee benefits, tax controversy resolution, tax-exempt entity operations, and taxing nexus reviews.  A corporate and tax lawyer by background, Len has written for or been quoted in various accounting, tax, and business publications, and has contributed to several guides to doing business in the United States. He is fluent in Russian, supporting his international tax advisory work.


Len served for more than a decade at MSPC Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, a Moore Global firm, first as Tax Manager – Counsel and then as Director of Global Tax Advisory.  Prior to that, he was a tax associate in the corporate department at Gibbons P.C. (presently FBT Gibbons) and was also a senior associate in the specialty tax and transfer pricing group at Duff & Phelps Corp. (currently operating under the Kroll brand name) and the international tax group at Alcoa Corporation.


In his spare time, Len enjoys playing tennis, reading, watching movies, working on his book collection, and traveling with his wife and two young sons.
