About Jen
Jennifer is a Tax Partner and attorney who has more than 25 years of experience in tax controversy matters at the federal, state, and local levels as well as strategic state tax planning and consulting.
Jennifer is well-versed in many areas of state and local taxation including nexus, residency, unitary/nonunitary analyses, apportionment sourcing, tax controversy, voluntary disclosure agreements, offers in compromise, etc. Jennifer routinely handles complex state and local tax issues for multi-state companies as well as high-net-worth individuals. She also focuses on IRS examinations, and state and local income tax examinations at both the corporate and individual levels, as well as sales and use tax examinations. In addition, Jennifer handles Appeals for individual income tax, corporate income tax and sales and use tax audits.
Prior to joining Schulman Lobel, Jennifer was a Managing Director of SALT and Tax Controversy at CBIZ. Jennifer has worked within public accounting as well as in the private sector throughout her career and worked for a $12 billion Fortune 500 company for close to a decade as their Director of SALT and Tax Controversy.
