About Adam
Adam brings over 25 years of experience serving as a trusted advisor to a diversity of privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations. Adam routinely and successfully represents not-for-profit clients concerning IRS tax exemption and state charities applications, formations, tax exams, and government correspondence.
Adam has a wealth of experience auditing defined contribution 401(k), profit sharing and money purchase pension plans, as well as single-employer and multiple-employer defined benefit plans. He advises clients on 401(k) and pension plan compliance, and also helps identify ways to reduce administrative costs within these plans. Adam also successfully represents sponsors of employee benefit plans subject to IRS tax exams.
Adam prepares and makes presentations to audit, finance, and executive committees of boards of directors to review the results of audit engagements. He advises clients on implementing new internal controls, policies, and procedures recommended in management letters, and on ways to address compliance-related deficiencies.
Prior to joining Partner at Schulman Lobel LLP and Schulman Lobel Advisors, LLC, Adam was a partner at regional and national accounting firms.
